Product Description
PRL-414B-C003 1:4 TTL/CMOS Fanout Buffer/Pulse Distribution Amplifier – 5V Outputs into 50Ω Loads
This PRL-414B-C003 is a specialized 1:4 fanout buffer and line driver designed for distributing high-speed TTL/CMOS clock and logic signals to multiple 50Ω loads . It is a modified version of the popular PRL-414B, with outputs enhanced to deliver 5V into 50Ω loads – a key feature for driving long cables .
The unit provides four in-phase TTL outputs with typical rise/fall times of 2 ns and can drive 100 feet of 50Ω cable at clock rates greater than 50 MHz (50 MHz guaranteed, 80 MHz typical) . The input resistance is user-selectable between 50Ω or 10kΩ via a switch, making it versatile for different source impedances .
This device is most frequently used for distributing 1 PPS clock signals from GPS receivers to multiple instruments that require 5V into 50Ω loads . It is also ideal for high-speed digital communications system testing and general clock distribution .
Condition Note: This unit is untested and sold as-is. The self-contained unit includes an AC/DC adapter (verify inclusion with seller). The housing is a compact extruded aluminum enclosure measuring 1.3″ x 2.9″ x 3.9″ .
