Ealing 22-4162 Triangular Bench 65mm Carrier with

This is a combination of two items. The first is a medium-width carrier for the triangular optical bench (65mm wide and 100mm deep). Fixed to the carrier is an unusual part for which I could not find a catalog number. It is a pin holder that is hinged so the component may easily be swung out of the optical path. The pivot is very substantial and precise to enable the part to be swung back into place. There is a clamp screw to secure the holder if desired.
The bore for the pin is the Ealing standard 13.7mm. There is an eccentric groove milled opposite the clamp screw that allows precise clamping of pins down to 10mm in diameter.
Condition of the carrier and swing-out pin holder are excellent.

Central scientific Translation Slide for Pin
$66.00This is a post translator for an optical bench carrier. There is a threaded hole in the base of the translator which may be intended for a pin. If so, it does not appear ever to have been installed. There are two bores in the part that moves relative to the base. One is in line with the threaded bore, the other is in a carrier that is offset from the upper part of the translator. The bore diameters are identical (0.540 inches). Both are supplied with clamp screws.
The translator is driven by a leadscrew and has 60mm of travel. Position may be read out to 0.1mm via a vernier. The item is in excellent condition.
