As per Newport website: Model F-CC Cable Clamp is a convenient, general-purpose device that securely holds fiber cables and provides strain relief. The fiber can be clamped in place in either of two V-grooves. The two clamping bars can mount on an SP Series Support Post at any convenient height. They lock in place with a knurled thumbscrew. For direct mounting to tables, positioners and post holders, a stub post with a threaded stud is also provided. The stub post can also be used to hold a cable in the outer V-groove when the clamp is post-mounted. The V-groove arrangement makes this clamp useful as a laboratory holder for small cylindrical optical elements as well as optical and electrical cables.

(356 mm) long rods mount to tables and breadboards with four bolts through a special ring base and have with a nylon gear rack set into the rod for rack-and-pinion control over component elevation.

A dovetail mounting surface with no holes is provided. Spring-loaded hard polymer guides along the mating surfaces of the carriers ensure wobble free sliding motion and dependable linear alignment. By backing out the clamping screw, any carrier can be positioned along a rail without removing other components with a simple snap down motion.
