This used ICE Enterprises ICE-PIC6L is a sophisticated digital signal processing (DSP) accelerator card designed for high-performance data capture and processing applications. It is part of ICE Enterprises’ PIC6 series, which has been declared End-of-Life (EOL) as of September 30, 2015, with support ending January 1, 2018 . The card has been superseded by the ICE-PIC7 series .

The “L” designation indicates this is the long form factor version of the card, measuring 4″ x 12.25″, featuring two processor module sites for enhanced processing capability .

Status & End-of-Life Notice

• EOL Date: September 30, 2015 (no longer recommended for new designs)

• EOA Date: December 31, 2015 (no new orders accepted)

• EOS Date: January 1, 2018 (end of support)

The ICE-PIC6 series has been superseded by the ICE-PIC7 series . This card is sold as-is without manufacturer support. Buyers should be prepared to support the card themselves or have existing expertise with ICE hardware.

Note on Non-Volatile Memory:
According to ICE’s certification, the ICE-PIC6 contains writable non-volatile EEPROM that holds the Xilinx gate array code only. It will never hold any user-supplied data, and there is no interface for the user to write data to the EEPROM .

The ICE-PIC6L can accept up to two processor modules for enhanced processing capability:
