This used GPS Source METRO “Smart” Amplifier is a primary signal controller designed for GPS L1 or L1/L2 signal retransmission applications . The METRO provides a calibrated 1 dBm incremental output power control, allowing users to precisely determine the output signal level via push-button control . This reduces the need for multiple antennas and multiple antenna cable runs while lowering maintenance and installation costs .
When used in conjunction with an active GPS receive antenna, the METRO will retransmit GPS signals inside a building, hangar, or any structure where GPS is not normally available . It is also suitable for use in automated test environments or shielded rooms requiring L1 or L1/L2 signal injection .
