The 289‑052‑2‑S is a conductive dust cap designed for HiPer‑D® and M24308-style D‑subminiature connector sockets (shell size 2).  It’s specially molded from conductive polyethylene copolymer (EVA) to:

• Provide electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection, meeting the MIL‑PRF‑81705E static decay standard.

• Maintain low surface resistivity (< 1×10⁵ Ω/□)

• Fit snugly over a 2S connector with outer diameter ~1.10 in (27.94 mm) and depth ~0.45 in (11.43 mm)

• Withstand service temperatures up to 140 °F (~60 °C)

• Feature an integral lip for easy removal

These caps are ideal for safeguarding sensitive connectors from dust, debris, and static during shipping, storage, or non-operational periods.
