$2,800.00This is a very large diameter interference filter which appears to have a peak bandpass around 555 nm. The glass is 240mm in diameter, and 8mm thick, polished both sides. There is a marking in ink on the periphery that states BP = 14-2483. There are also four indications 90 degrees apart – V I, II V, III V, and IV V. Additionally, in pencil is the number 937-5.
The filter is in perfect condition – there appears to be some sort of protective coating over the interference film. There are no blemishes anywhere.

$3,500.00This is an 8 inch diameter spherical radius test plate with both sides figured. The plate has a measured radius of 38.4747 inches. The center thickness is 0.940 inches. The power is lambda / 4, peak-to-peak. Similarly the irregularities are also lambda / 4 peak-to-peak.
The plate was manufactured by Itek for use in a null test application. Originally there were two plates (a CX-1 and a CC-1). Only the CC-1 plate is present.
Itek was the prime contractor for very high-end optics used in military applications, notably imaging systems for National Security Agency spy satellites.

$1,500.00This mirror is in excellent condition. Using an infinity collimator the focal length was determined to be almost exactly 12 inches, yielding a radius of curvature of 24 inches. The glass is 1.375 inches thick at the margins.
We don’t know too much about the characteristics of the item, but it was in with several pieces of fine glass that were manufactured by ITEK, who used to be the premier lens designers for the military, most notably the National Security Agency’s ultra-high resolution spy satellites.
This mirror appears to have some sort of dielectric coating over a solid reflecting substrate (Al ?). There is one small blemish in the coating (about 4mm long) that can be seen in the photo. There are also some very fine scratches that can be seen when using a strong magnifier. Otherwise the coating appears to be excellent..
