Product Description
Newport Model 400 XY Linear Translation Stage – Precision Manual Positioning with 0.5″ Travel, 100 lb Load Capacity
This used Newport Model 400 XY translation stage is a precision manual positioning stage designed for applications requiring smooth, accurate linear motion in two axes. The Model 400 has been discontinued by Newport and replaced by the Model 401, which is virtually identical in design and specifications .
The stage offers 0.5 inches of travel in both the X and Y directions, with a 100 pound load capacity enabled by its pre-loaded ball bushing movement system . The low-profile design stands less than 2 inches tall, making it ideal for integration into optical setups with limited vertical clearance. Newport actuators are included with the stage.
The Newport 400 is suitable for a wide range of precision positioning applications including optical alignment, component testing, and general laboratory use where manual fine positioning is required.
Condition Note: This unit is untested and sold as-is. It is a pull from surplus inventory. The actuators are included unless specified otherwise.
