Concurrent Technologies AD PP5/001 Rear Transition Module

The AD PP5/001 is a 6U CompactPCI rear transition module designed to provide convenient access to various I/O functions from compatible Concurrent Technologies processor boards. It mounts in the rear transition area of the CompactPCI backplane, facilitating connections through both front panel interfaces and onboard headers.

• Backplane Interfaces: Connects via J3 and J5 connectors

• Ethernet: Dual 10/100/1000 Mbps via RJ45 connectors on the front panel

• Serial Ports: 2 x RS232 via RJ45 connectors

• USB: 1 x USB port accessible from the front panel

• EIDE Interface: 40-way header supporting Ultra-DMA 33; optional CompactFlash™/IBM® Microdrive™ connector or 1.8-inch HDD

• Floppy Disk Interface: 34-way header

• Parallel Printer Port: 26-way header supporting ECP, EPP, and IEEE1284 modes

• PMC I/O: 2 x 68-way high-density D-type connectors on the front panel, compatible with Concurrent Technologies’ SCSI PMC modules

• Additional Interfaces:

  • PC speaker via 5-way header

  • External reset, system fan monitor, and general-purpose user I/O via 12-way header
