WILDSTAR 5 for PCI Express DRam 13886-0000-rev D

The WILDSTAR™ 5 for PCI Express is a high-performance FPGA-based processing board developed by Annapolis Micro Systems. It features up to three Xilinx Virtex™ 5 FPGAs, each capable of interfacing with various memory options to suit different application requirements.

Regarding DRAM configurations, the board supports up to 7 GB of DDR2 DRAM across 12 memory banks. Specifically, each Computational Processing Element (CPE) FPGA can be equipped with up to seven external memory ports, which can be configured with DDR2 DRAM, DDR2/QDR2 SRAM, or RLDRAM, providing flexibility based on performance needs.

Additionally, the WILDSTAR 5 board offers programmable FLASH for each FPGA to store FPGA images, an 8x PCI Express bus supporting the PCI Express standard, and high-speed DMA multi-channel PCI controller.
