Tronair Falcon Towbar Head 01-0505-0000

• A “towbar head” from Tronair is the attachment head that mates between a towbar and an aircraft’s nose-gear tow hook. It’s what allows a towbar to connect securely to (and tow) different airplane noses.

• Tronair makes several series of heads (commonly “500-series”, “600-series”, “800-series”) that are compatible with their “multi-head” towbar systems

• Heads attach to the towbar using a ball-lok T-pin system, which allows quick change-out of heads on the same towbar to match different aircraft.

• Many heads feature built-in shear protection (radial, and/or tension/compression) to protect the aircraft nose gear from overload or torque during towing or turning.
