The SCM‑8 is a switch control module used with Siemens fire alarm systems—specifically the FireFinder XLS and Cerberus PRO voice modular platforms. It enables manual control of evacuation or fire system functions via dedicated push-button switches and indicator LEDs.

🔌 Installation & Connectivity

• Installs vertically onto an ID‑MP mounting plate, which in turn mounts inside the FireFinder XLS or Cerberus PRO cabinet.

• Connects to the system via CAN bus through the panel’s network interface card (NIC).
