Rotel RD-1000M Stereo Cassette Deck. Vintage. Unit powers on. Mechanism clean. Pressure roller good. FF and REW action good. Powered mechanism engages smoothly and quietly. Test factory pre-recorded tape (Dave Brubeck Quartet) plays excellently. VU meters good. Record functionality not tested, unit does go into record mode when interlock is bypassed with a finger. Door cover is easily removed for head cleaning and any adjustments. Nice heavy build quality. Online information is positive. No manual, cables or other accessories. Rubber feet were previously removed. Purchaser will be responsible for any maintenance required (unit is 40+ years old). This unit would be an excellent choice for transferring analog cassette tape content to the digital realm.
