Newport PA-50R Autocollimator

The PA Series Pinhole Autocollimators determine relative angles of flat reflecting surfaces with arc-second accuracy.

They project a light beam like a collimator and collect its reflections like a telescope-the spots whose positions changes with the angle of the test surface.

The PA series provide clear images for test objects as small as 3mm diameter and reflectances as low as 4%.

PA 50R incorporates an adjustable reference reflector so surfaces can be aligned to its plane.

The reference reflector orientation is adjusted using precision differential screws  which product 1 arc-sec of tilt per degree of rotation.

The PA Series are ruggedly constructed and are easy to set up on a flat surface or V-block
