The Newport CMA-12CCCL is a compact motorized linear actuator designed for precise positioning applications. It features a closed-loop DC servo motor, providing 12.5 mm (0.5 inches) of travel with sub-micron resolution. This actuator can handle axial loads up to 90 N. Its compact design, measuring 19.7 mm in height and 15.2 mm in width, allows integration with various linear stages, mirror mounts, and other opto-mechanical components.
