he National Instruments PCI-1200 is a multifunction data acquisition (DAQ) board designed for use in PCI-based PCs. It’s an older-generation NI board but was widely used in labs, research, and industrial automation.

  • 16 single-ended or 8 differential channels

  • 12-bit resolution

  • Sampling rate up to 100 kS/s

• Analog Outputs (AO):

  • 2 channels

  • 12-bit resolution

• Digital I/O (DIO):

  • 24 digital I/O lines

• Counters/Timers:

  • Two 24-bit counters for event counting, frequency measurement, or pulse generation

• Bus Interface:

  • Standard PCI bus card

• Software Compatibility:

  • Supported in NI-DAQ drivers (legacy)

  • Usable in LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, and Measurement Studio (when supported)

Since this board is legacy hardware, it may not be supported on modern Windows versions beyond XP/7, but it can still work on older setups or with Linux support in some cases.
