Large KBr salt crystal window with surface flaws (caliper not included)

Material � Potassium Bromide
Diameter 1.6 inches
Thickness 0.17 inches
Focal Length � flat window
Surface finish � strongly etched, (with foreign contaminants?)
Container � Plastic box with tissue lining, no desiccant.

This crystal will need to be repolished � one face appears to have some contaminants on the surface, the other face is lightly etched. Box is marked �KBy� but outside edge of crystal is correctly marked KBr.
