It supports full-bandwidth 4K video and is ideal for medical imaging, command and control centers, digital signage, industrial visualization, engineering workstations, and other applications requiring long-distance, high-quality video transmission. The extender consists of a transmitter and receiver that convert DisplayPort signals for transmission over fiber, allowing video, audio, and DisplayPort auxiliary data to travel up to 660 feet (200 meters) without signal degradation.
