The Galleon XSR Rugged NAS offers superior performance
in an ultra-small form factor. Removable storage ensures
short ground times for airborne applications. Industry
standard solid-state drives are used to benefit from the
ever increasing storage densities and cost reductions as
the technology evolves.
The XSR NAS is capable of handling a high number of
simultaneous connections without compromising system
performance. Both optical 10Gb and traditional Gigabit
Ethernet optical or copper connections are available to suit
existing infrastructure.
Small Rugged NAS
The unit can be delivered with Windows Embedded
Storage Server, Linux Enterprise Server or FreeNAS SW
preconfigured to suit your application needs. An optional
AES 256-bit hardware encryption module provides a high
level of data security with flexible key loading options,
including physical key tokens through front panel key
loading port and remote loading over a secure network
connection.
Galleon Embedded Computing’s quality management
system is certified to Aerospace Standard AS/EN
9100:2016 and ISO 9001:2015.

The XSR NAS Dock is built in a small form factor server chassis, and it provides a powerful solution for making the data available to the end user. Data can be accessed directly by read/write to the RDM or it can be copied to a connected external network or server. The built-in RDM docking station provides direct access to the four SSDs in the RDM through individual 6.0 Gbps SATA links for over 1500MB/s sustained read/write speeds.

 

Intel Xeon processor options, including the latest 9th generation, are supported with 4x 16GB SDRAM supporting ECC.

 

The XSR Removable Data Module (RDM) fits all of Galleon’s XSR data recorders, NAS and servers, thus providing an extremely flexible storage solution to suit the target application. The RDM can be exchange in the field in seconds, with no tools required.

 

The XSR NAS Dock is capable of handling a high number of simultaneous connections without compromising system performance.

 

The unit can be delivered with Linux Enterprise Server or FreeNAS SW preconfigured to suit your application needs.

 

The XSR NAS Dock can perform full disk encryption in software to access RDMs encrypted on XSRs with the Galleon hardware encryption module. This feature is only available on systems running Linux Enterprise Server.
