Product Description
Extron VSC 700 High-Performance Scan Converter – Converts Computer RGB to Standard Definition Video with Genlock
This used Extron VSC 700 is a professional-grade scan converter designed to convert high-resolution computer video signals (up to 1920×1200) to standard definition video formats including composite video, S-video, component video, and RGB video . The VSC 700 is ideal for integrating computer sources into broadcast environments, video conferencing systems, and professional AV installations.
Unlike the VSC 500, the VSC 700 features genlock capability, allowing it to synchronize with an external blackburst reference signal for seamless integration into broadcast and production workflows . The unit also includes horizontal filtering (four selectable settings) in addition to vertical filtering, which helps reduce jitter and maintain picture detail during the scan conversion process .
The VSC 700 has been discontinued by Extron and is no longer in production .
Condition Note: This unit is used and sold as-is. It may show signs of prior use such as rack rash or minor cosmetic wear. Power cord, IR remote, and cables are not included unless specified. The unit has been discontinued and is sold without warranty .
