The Crystalfontz CFA635 LCD Module is a versatile 20×4 character display designed for seamless integration into embedded systems and front-panel applications. Featuring USB 2.0 connectivity, it simplifies both data communication and power supply through a single connection. The module includes a white LED edge-lit backlight and a transflective FSTN positive display, ensuring readability across various lighting conditions.

Key Features:

• Integrated Keypad: Six fully decoded, white LED-backlit buttons with a translucent silicone overlay and silkscreened legends, allowing for unique key combinations.

• Non-Volatile Memory: Customize power-on displays and LED settings; includes a 16-byte “scratch” register for storing IP addresses, netmask, or system serial numbers.

• Optional ATX Power Control: Enables the module’s buttons to replace traditional “power” and “reset” buttons, streamlining front-panel designs.

Kairos Autonomi integrates the CFA635 module into its autonomous vehicle systems, leveraging its reliable display and input capabilities for mission-critical applications. This integration supports functionalities such as unmanned ground vehicle control, route reconnaissance, and range clearance operations.
