The Navitar Zoom 6000 main body, offered here, is a very high-performance video imaging system with a 6.5 to 1 zoom ratio maintaining parfocality throughout the zoom range. The optics have special coatings that are designed to reduce ghosting while enhancing the color response of video cameras. The zoom bodies require the use of adapters to relay the image to the camera CCD. These adapters, along with C-mount rings, are offered separately. In addition, optional front lens attachments are available to alter the working distance and resulting magnification..
This listing only includes the basic zoom body 6000. The working distance is approximately 92mm. When using a 1x adapter (not included), the magnification range is 0.7x to 4.5x. The image area when using a ½ inch detector ranges from 11.42mm to 1.77mm. When using a typical 13” monitor, this translates to an ‘on-screen’ magnification range of 29x to 186x.
With the addition of optional objective lens attachments, the magnification range can be altered by factors between 0.25x and 2x. These lens attachments also alter the working distance, 356mm when using the 0.25x attachment, to 36mm when using the 2x attachment. The lens attachments are not included with the basic main body. Please inquire regarding the availability of both the camera relay adapters and auxiliary lenses.
The zoom bodies are in perfect optical and mechanical condition, and near-perfect cosmetic condition.
