Semrock 41001 HQ FITC Fluorescence Cube for Nikon Eclipse Microscope
This is a fluorescence filter module for the Nikon Eclipse series of epi-fluorescence microscope illuminators. The module consists of an assembly that includes an exciter, barrier, and dichroic filter.
The side of the filter module is marked ‘41001 HQ FITC’. These numbers appear to be Chroma part numbers although the label appears to be a Nikon catalog number label. Also lightly marked in pencil is ‘YOYO-1’. The absorption and emission characteristics of this fluorochrome are very similar to that of FITC and the cube could be used for either.
The module is in excellent condition. There do not appear to be any blemishes in any of the filters.
