This precision grating was made for Jerrell-Ash by Bausch & Lomb. Much of the following information was taken from the nomenclature label fixed to the back of the grating substrate..

The grating is in fair condition. There is some mottling of the coating over the entire surface. There are also some tiny blemishes in the grating here and there. No deep scratches. This is suitable for student experimentation. The grating includes the Jerrel-Ash holder shown in the photos.
