Per the Manufacturer:
The VPT-3 Translating Optical Post Holder provides precise 3 to 3.64 inch vertical adjustment for 1/2 inch post-mounted components. Posts can be coarsely set, precisely adjusted for height, and then locked for high stability. A 1/4-20 threaded hole in the base can be used with the PS-A Pedestal Post Adapter.
