This fiber optic ringlight is especially suited to machine vision cameras with smaller diameter lenses. It may also be used with most measuring microscopes that use single objectives. It is not suited to use with stereo microscopes because the inside diameter of the ring is too small..

The ringlight light guide is vinyl-clad armored, and 6 feet long. The diameter of the input ferrule is the Volpi standard 15mm. The internal diameter of the bore is 0.875 inches. The diameter of the light output ring is just shy of 1 inch. The outer diameter of the ring is 1.458 inches. There is a plastic thumb screw for securing the ring.
