The A228001-1 is a high performance multifunction device that amplifies and divides a single X-band input signal into two phase-controlled output signals. The phase of the two output signals are independentlycontrolled through the use of analog phase shifters and digitally controlled 180 degree phase shifter bits that are included in each output channel. In addition to the very accurate 180 degree bit, the output phase can be continuously varied up to another 400 degrees through the use of the analog phase shifters. Integral differential line receivers enable high speed analog control of the output signal phase. The hermetically sealed PhaseControl Unit is intended for use in high capacity data communication applications such as optical long-haul data networks
