Mark-Tech Laser Model 6430 Detector

Description

This is a Mark-Tech Laser Inc. Model 6430 position detector. It is marked with four quadrature positions, plus and minus vertical, and plus and minus horizontal. There is a connector (without cable) that is used to attach the detector to the readout device. We do not have either the cable or the detector, so we have no way to test. This was one of several components all sharing the same serial number (165), dated April of 1988.

Detector appears to be in very fine condition. There are four detents for positioning the detector within the magnetic holder (or other fixtures). The diameter of the cylinder with the detents is 1.25 inches. Detents are spaced halfway between the vertical and horizontal markings on the detector body.
