This item is from the base of a Leitz (Leica) Ergoplan microscope that was very incomplete when we received it. This is the remote adjustment rheostat for the lamp intensity adjustment, complete with the lead set and connector. Also included is the mounting bracket and the knob. This is an excellent spare part for Ergoplan users.
