This is a Coherent Laser Spectrum Analyzer Positioning Holder with Base.
Excellent used Condtion
The Coherent Optics (formerly manufactured by Tropel) Laser Spectrum Analyzer Mount consists of a special precision gimbal mount and a large diameter clamping disk base. The gimbal mounting is 137mm in diameter and has micrometer controls for both the elevation and azimuth. The spectrum analyzer tube assembly is held by a special collet closer. No adapter is required for the 1.5, 7, and 30 GHz FSR systems. An adapter sleeve is available for the smaller diameter 300 MHz FSR systems.
The gimbal includes a 5/8 inch diameter pin. Used in conjunction with the base disk, the optic axis of the analyzer is adjustable between 108 and 127mm. These mounts are in excellent condition. They have been completely rebuilt and both axes are completely free of play. The micrometer spindles have been cleaned and relubricated.
PLEASE NOTE! Because quantities are very limited, these mounts are ONLY available with the purchase of one of our Coherent Optics / Tropel Spectrum Analyzer systems. Depending on their age, they may carry either the Coherent or Tropel logo. The mounts are identical in all respects except for the color of the disk clamping knob.
Also note that the adapter sleeve will be supplied if you purchase a 300MHz FSR system. The 300MHz system shown in the last photo (with adapter sleeve installed) is for illustrative purposes only – it is available separately.
