Holography Film Holder Carrier with Precision

This appears to be some sort of holographic film holder fixture. The mounting does not include a base plate, but is a complete gimbal fixture with very fine precision screws for both azimuth and elevation (probably 100 TPI). The mount is missing the actual film holder, but does have the locating fixture for the holder. This consists of a plate with four alignment pin posts and four adjustable spring-loaded clamps, part of a custom modification. The clear aperture is 3.75 by 3.0 inches. The film-holding plate may easily be removed, as well as the four clamps. Clear mounting area of the mounting plate would then be seven inches square. The distance from the carrier plate to the gimbal plane is 30mm (excluding the film carrier fixture)..

All adjustments work smoothly and the mount is in excellent condition. The only modifications to the mount are the four milled slots for clearance of the spring clamps.
