These Thorlabs 1 inch fixed lens mounts have a nylon-tipped set screw for securing the component. They are furnished with a custom base that has a radius on the back side with a matching slot. It appears they were to be mounted against a similar reference surface where they could be turned in an azimuth direction through several degrees. The upper side of the base has a reference ledge for orienting the lens holder..
These are very well-made and in near-new condition. Listing includes both the Thorlabs lens holder and the special base. A typical 0.25 inch thick mirror placed in the holder would be located very close to the axis of rotation.
