Custom Off-Axis Parabolic Reflector with Elaborate

This is an interesting parabolic reflector. It appears that it may have been intended as a lamp collimation mirror. It looks like the optic axis of the mirror may lie parallel to the plane of the support bracket and very close to the edge of the mirror. Dimensions of the mirror back at its largest extent are 4 inches long and 3 inches wide.
The mirror is supported on spherical bearing that is transected by the pin of the mirror mounting. See photos. None of the adjustments have been altered.
The mirror does have very fine cleaning marks, but the coating is still excellent.
