Chroma Dichroic Band Stop 460 – 600nm lines at 554 and 567nm.
This Chroma filter is in very good condition, having been removed from some prototype equipment. It has the following characteristics:

� Diameter = 25mm
� Thickness = 2mm
� No mounting cell
� Filter type – interference dichroic
� Part number – 625DCXR

The filter appears to be dual-excitation dichroic. The wavelength characteristics are rather complicated. There is a sharp band stop region that extends from 460nm to 600nm, with transmission lines at 554 and 567nm.

Transmission characteristics are measured with the filter mounted at 45 degrees to the optic axis. The reflection characteristics are complementary to the transmission characteristics. The surface of the filter may have a very fine void or two, but the ‘mottled’ appearance in the photo is actually a reflection artifact – the filter coating is very even.
