Bausch & Lomb 2x Microscope Projection

This is quite an unusual eyepiece. It is a Bausch & Lomb 2x. The upper bezel has a recessed rubber ring to protect eyeglasses, so it was obviously intended to be used visually. There is no eyelens, per se. Instead the upper bezel merely has an aperture about 3mm in diameter. There is a field lens located roughly in the center of the tube, and that is the extent of the optics. It would appear to find application in micro-projection.
The ocular is in great condition.
