This a complete infrared lens assembly manufactured by Diversified Optical Products, a company recently acquired by Axsys Technologies. The lens mount is focusable through a small range (about 8mm) but there is no aperture diaphragm. The lens nomenclature includes:

The lens appears to be made of Germanium, given the optimized transmission range of 8 to 12 microns. It is coated, but completely opaque to visible light. The rear element system has a clear diameter of 50mm and is slightly concave. The front element has a clear aperture of 89mm. Overall length of the assembly (not including the supplied step-down mounting ring) is 90mm with a 127mm diameter mounting flange. The outer flange has a 4.75 inch bolt-hole circle to clear 1/4-20 threads. The step-down ring (shown attached in all the photos) has a step diameter of 112.8mm and adds another 20mm to the length. The bolt hole circle in the step-down flange is 3.95 inches to clear 10-32 screws.
The optic appear to be free of blemishes. Included, but not shown in the photos, is a metal front lens cover.
