1165-9-5-1 Diffraction Grating on Copper Substrate

This grating is ruled on a copper substrate and obviously intended for work with IR lasers.
There was no documentation with the grating other than what was written on the protective capsule..

Ruled area � 28mm square..
Substrate size � 30mm x 30mm
Substrate thickness � 10mm
Coating � appears to be gold with protective coat

Condition of the grating is unknown. There does seem to be some some mottling in the protective coating, and a at certain angles a slight Moire target pattern is visible (possibly from heat). Capsule notes stage 6 micron master, copper, from folded laser. 3M. Dated 20 November 1975.
