Design Components Manual Rotary Attachment

This is a rotary attachment, possibly manufactured by Design Components (it was attached to one of their XY motorized stages). The rotary motion is via a massive bearing (5 inches in diameter). The fixed square plate has a square bolt hole pattern for �-20 Allen cap screws, 5.500 inches square. The rotary hub has a 2.75 inch diameter bolt circle with 8 equally spaced holes, all tapped for �-20 screws.

Overall height � 2.125 inches
Clearance of rotary hub above bearing retaining ring � 0.75 inches

Condition of the attachment is superb. There is one small ding in the bearing retaining ring that does not affect function, otherwise like new. There is no provision for motorizing the rotation, nor is there any means of clamping the rotation. Rotation is very firm without the slightest trace of backlash.

Klinger TR46 Precision Theta Stage with Fine Adj.

This is a Klinger / Micro Controle minature precision theta rotation stage. It is the smallest in the TR series of stages. Course motion (full rotation about 360 degrees) is accomplished by releasing the clamp screw. When the clamp screw is engaged, the fine adjustment knob can be used for precise theta adjustment through a range of approximately 4 degrees. This particular stage comes equipped with the fine adjustment locking device.
