This is a fully reconditioned adjustable slit from a one-meter Jarrell-Ash double monochromator..
The slit is mounted on a cylindrical sleeve 1.5 inches in diameter.
The sleeve has a threaded focusing disk which would be held captive in the monochromator (the holding assembly is not included).
There is a micrometer drum for governing the slit width.
The micrometer reads ‘0’ when the slit just closes.Enclosure size (for slit) � 100mm wide, 58mm tall, 25mm deep
Maximum slit opening � 4mm
Micrometer reads to 0.02mm
Calibrated adjustable mask for governing slit height � zero to 20mm plus four additional 2mm square apertures at differing heightsThe mechanism works perfectly. When knife edges meet micrometer reads zero. Cosmetic condition is superb.
