1. We are seeking a part-time experienced Vacuum Equipment Specialist to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of vacuum technology and components. The specialist will work hands-on to disassemble, identify a wide variety of vacuum systems and classifying surplus equipment therefore we know how to sell them with reasonable price. The ideal candidate possesses vaccum technical knowledge, stay updated on trends and advancements in vacuum technology to apply best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Disassemble, inspect, identify vacuum equipment, including diffusion, cryogenic, and other pump types.
- Assist in the identification and classification of surplus vacuum equipment, even when little documentation is available.
- Collaborate with inventory, sales, and technical teams to provide expertise and guidance on vacuum systems.
- Stay updated on trends and advancements in vacuum technology to apply best practices.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience working with vacuum systems in a technical capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of vacuum equipments.
- Proven ability to identify and evaluate vacuum equipment, including older and less common systems.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate inventory and service records.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with high-vacuum or ultra-high-vacuum (HV/UHV) systems and components.
- Background in scientific, industrial, or research environments where vacuum equipment is commonly used.
