In view and available in this sale is a used Berkey Colortran 1KW Soft-Lite in excellent usable condition. The Soft-Lite is designed for use as a fill light in motion picture, still photographic, and television studio applications. Manufactured of light weight aluminum, the unit is designed for use with a single 1000 watt FCM lamps though it can be used with lower wattage lamps as well.

The 1KW Soft-Lite’s large scoop style white reflector produces a virtually shadowless field of illumination perfect for general lighting needs. The Soft-Lite is supported by a mounting yoke and may be placed on a large lightstand or suspended overhead. Dual axis pivot control allows virtually unlimited directional positioning. Cooled by convection, the unit produces no sound when working and is controlled by a single rear mounted switch. AC power is supplied through a standard US grounded plug.

This lighting unit is in excellent usable condition. It is functionally perfect. It has the cosmetics of normal use with no signs of abuse or damage. It’s a large lamp house that produces a wide field of illumination of high intensity perfect for stage or studio
