This is a Newport Research (NRC) PAC087AR.14 Visible Archomatic Doublet Lens in LH-2 Fixed Lens Mount.
As per the Newport website: The PAC087AR.14 Precision Achromatic Doublet Lens is a 400 to 700 nm antireflection coated, 2 inch (50.8 mm) diameter, BK 7 and SF 5 precision achromatic doublet lens with an effective focal length of 200 mm. This achromat is computer designed to effectively minimize spherical aberration and coma when operating at infinite conjugate ratio, yielding smaller focused spot sizes. Unlike singlet lenses, this results in a constant focal length independent of aperture and far better off-axis performance. Achromats are superior to singlet lenses for monochromatic applications at any visible wavelength.
The lens is in excellent condition with no scratches or signs of wear.
As per the Newport website: The LH-2 Fixed Lens Mount is a convenient and economical solution for mounting 2 inch (50.8 mm) lenses and beamsplitters. The lens mount consists of a threaded holder with a Delrin retaining ring to hold the optic firmly, but gently. The holder incorporates 8-32 and M4 threaded mounting holes for post mounting on both English and Metric SP and MSP Series posts.
