Product Description
The Alcatel ASM 180 TD is a high-performance helium leak detector designed for industrial applications requiring precise and reliable leak detection . This “dry” oil-free model makes it ideal for cleanroom environments and applications where hydrocarbon contamination must be avoided .
The detector utilizes a robust vacuum circuit incorporating a primary roughing pump, a molecular drag pump, a hybrid turbomolecular pump, an analyzer cell, and a calibrated leak module . It operates in three stages for vacuum test mode—primary roughing, molecular roughing, and fine leak test mode—and also supports sniffing mode (LDS) and internal calibration mode .
The autocalibration system uses an internal calibrated leak (approximately 1×10⁻⁷ mbar.l/s) equipped with a temperature-dependent compensation system, ensuring measurement accuracy and reliability . The calibration process is fully automated by pressing the autocal button .
