Thorlabs P6 Ø1.5″ Mounting Post – Stainless Steel Optical Post for Rigid 3D Structures

This used Thorlabs P6 is a Ø1.5″ diameter mounting post fabricated from solid, non-magnetic 303 stainless steel . With a length of 6.0 inches (152.4 mm) , it is part of Thorlabs’ P-Series of large-diameter posts designed for constructing extremely rigid optomechanical assemblies with demanding structural integrity requirements .

Each end features a 1/4″-20 (M6) tapped hole, allowing multiple posts and post spacers to be stacked together to achieve a wide range of mounting heights . The large-diameter relief cuts at the end interfaces provide exceptional strength and rigidity when components are clamped. A side-located clearance hole accommodates a 3/16″ (5 mm) balldriver, providing the leverage needed to securely tighten stacked components .

Condition Note: This unit is used and sold as-is. It may show signs of normal laboratory wear such as minor scuffs or marks from mounting. No mounting hardware is included.
