Aleratec 350108 Hard Disk Drive PortaCruiser

The Aleratec 350108, also known as the “1:1 Hard Disk Drive PortaCruiser,” is a standalone HDD duplicator and dual-disk RAID controller. It works with both 2.5″ and 3.5″ SATA hard drives and even supports IDE drives when paired with separate cables.

It supports four operational modes:

• RAID 0 (striping) for performance enhancements,

• RAID 1 (mirroring) for redundancy,

• JBOD (spanning) to combine multiple disks without striping or redundancy,

• Normal mode to access drives individually.

The interface is totally standalone—no computer needed. It uses an LCD display and physical buttons for navigation, and includes USB 2.0 connectivity when used as a RAID controller
