The PULNiX TM-9701 is a high-resolution monochrome CCD camera designed for various applications, including machine vision, medical and scientific imaging, automated inspection, aerospace, and intelligent transportation systems. It features a 2/3-inch progressive scan interline transfer CCD sensor with a resolution of 768 horizontal by 484 vertical pixels. This progressive scanning capability allows for high-speed dynamic image capture with full vertical and horizontal frame resolution, producing clear images of rapidly moving objects without the need for strobe lighting.
The camera is equipped with a fully electronic asynchronous shutter, enabling image capture upon external command and asynchronous reset via an external pulse. The shutter offers speeds ranging from 1/60 to 1/16,000 seconds, utilizing a substrate drain mechanism to minimize smearing at each speed. Additionally, the TM-9701 includes an internal frame store that holds the captured image for readout to a frame grabber or host processor, ensuring successful image transfer.
For output versatility, the TM-9701 provides both RS-422 digital progressive scan output and RS-170 analog interlace output, allowing compatibility with standard monitors and a wide range of frame grabbers. The camera also supports full-frame integration for enhanced sensitivity in low-light environments, maintaining continuous video output without requiring a frame grabber.
