45-Degree Mirror and Beam-splitter Mount for 1 inch Optics

This is a 45 degree mirror (or beam-splitter) mount for 1 inch diameter optics. The recess is 0.120 inches deep. The component is secured by a nylon-tipped set screw. The base of the mount has a circular boss 0.984 inches in diameter with a 0.508 inch diameter through-bore. The boss is 0.235 inches tall. Overall width of the holder is 1.256 inches.

There is no bore in the back of the holder, so mirrors would have to be placed with the reflective side facing away from the recess. When used as a beam-splitter, the direct beam would be through the bore in the base.

These do not have any manufacturer’s marks on them and are possibly custom made. They are black anodized aluminum and in near-perfect condition.
