The LC connector adapter is also included along with the carrying case. Unit was tested to power up with indication as shown in photo. The 12AX uses a Germanium detector, and was cycled through the five wavelengths (780, 850, 1300, 1310, and 1550nm). It did pass a self-calibration procedure.

Mark-Tech Laser Model 6430 Detector
$375.00This is a Mark-Tech Laser Inc. Model 6430 position detector. It is marked with four quadrature positions, plus and minus vertical, and plus and minus horizontal. There is a connector (without cable) that is used to attach the detector to the readout device. We do not have either the cable or the detector, so we have no way to test. This was one of several components all sharing the same serial number (165), dated April of 1988.
Detector appears to be in very fine condition. There are four detents for positioning the detector within the magnetic holder (or other fixtures). The diameter of the cylinder with the detents is 1.25 inches. Detents are spaced halfway between the vertical and horizontal markings on the detector body.

Carriers are plain and may have slight modifications such as enlarged holes, but the integrity of the carriers are in no way compromised. When installed on the bench, the top surface of the carrier sits 2.88 inches above the base of the bench. Carriers vary between 1.6 inches and 2 inches wide, and may have either clamping knobs or Allen set-screw clamps (both types are illustrated).
