The P100-Ai31 PERFORMA™-i Optical Mounts has been optimized for industrial OEM applications requiring precise angular adjustment, high stability, and set, lock, and forget capability. Three tamper-resistant hex head precision 100 TPI integral adjustment screws provide high-resolution ±4° angular motion. Turning all three adjustment screws will translate the front plate. Extra-stiff springs enhance long-term stability and provide greater protection against vibrations. Our patented thread pitch lock securely locks the adjustment screw with just a simple counter-clockwise turn, without influencing the position of the front plate of the mount. The front plate is anodized per MIL-8625C, type III, providing an ultra-hard bearing surface for the adjustment screws. We’ve tested this mount to over 200,000 turns of the adjustment screw with no degradation in performance. That’s well over 20 years of typical use. This PERFORMA™-i Aperture Optical Mount is for 1 inch (25.4 mm) diameter optics.

Each post is marked with an index groove every 1 in. (25.4 mm) for a quick height reference. Cross-drilled holes allow 3/16 inch hex wrenches to aid in tightening and loosening assembled posts. An 8-32 threaded hole on each end allows optical pedestals and pedestal extenders to be attached together end-to-end using a setscrew. In-between heights can be achieved by combining a pedestal post with a 0.5 in. (12.7 mm) high post and/or spacers, available in 0.125 and 0.25 in. (3.18 and 6.35 mm) heights. For direct mounting to a threaded hole on an optical table, use a 1/4-20 to 8-32 thread adaptor. Optical pedestals enable ultra-stable mounting of optical mounts at low beam heights.
