Newport Precision DC Motorized Translation Stage.

This item is a Newport Model TS50DC.5 motorized translation stage in near-new condition. The stage top is 6 inches square, with an overall thickness of 2.75 inches. The mounting base is also 6 inches square. The motor and encoder housing, next to the stage is 12 inches long, with an additional 1 inch added for the manual actuator knob. The housing adds an additional 3 inches to the width of the stage.

The stage features a DC motor with tachometer feedback and glass scale linear encoders. Construction is of stress-relieved Al7075 aluminum. Cross-roller bearing for high load bearing capacity.
